Conmebol Libertadores Event Guide
Introduction
- This event is going to run for a total of 56 days. That’s 8 weeks bro but still this is, side event. Anyway, let’s go to the event and discuss everything about this event.
- There are three chapters in this event: main chapter, vote chapter, and reward chapter. Now, let’s go through all the chapters.
Main
- In the main chapter, you’ll find a star pass which offers many rewards.
- For those who purchase starpass they are going to get 100 OVR tevez for free and a total of 6 mascherano where for the free to play users we will get some 2 X mascheranos and other rewards such as coins, gems and fodders.
- This is definitely a mini star pass and don’t expect rewards that you use to get from the main event star pass.
- In the main event star pass we get a total of 60 nodes or levels where in this star pass we are getting only 30 nodes or levels which is definitely decreasing rewards by 25 to 50%. Let’s go back to the event and here in the final rewards you can see 97 to 101 rating untradeable packs which can even give 101 rating players but not fixed.
- To open this 97 to 101 rating pack for free, you have to play 10 group stages matches. Here you can see the journey where there are a total of 3 stages.
First stage is already unlocked and you just have to click on the start button and here you can see some matches. Now, this match is really easy to complete since the difficulty is ameature level this time and also you can do a total of 4 retries.
- You can get the shuffle button here and each shuffle will give different OVR opponents. So, according to the OVR of the opponent you will get different amounts of tokens by playing a match.
- You can see here the more OVR you compete the more tokens you will get. You can do a daily 4 shuffle and you can also try to match 4 times. So, you have to play 4 matches daily here but before playing I suggest you guys to shuffle matches. What shuffle does is, suppose I have 80 OVR opponents now right?
- So, 80 OVR opponents give 50 to 65 tokens and if you shuffle the OVR changes and in the shuffle if you are getting 95 OVR opponents, you are going to get 70 to 85 libertadores tokens. So, Before playing match shuffle is very important as the higher OVR opponent you will get higher tokens.
- In a total of 5 days, you can easily claim these 97 to 101 rating rewards, as playing 4 matches daily you can play 20 matches in just 5 days. And, you might be getting 2 more 97 to 100 rating rewards as the semifinal and final stage is remaining and they can give us those rewards.
- Also, with the winning streak 1, 2 and 3 you can claim this libertadores tokens and even this winning streak refreshes daily. We have libertadores challenge rewards here. Since I already played 1 match in the group stage, I am getting free 1k gems and the rest 2 rewards which are coins and mascherano will unlock after playing 1 match in the semifinal and final stage.
- There is no confirmation when the semifinal and final stage unlocks. To be honest, this time EA tried something good and interesting.
Vote
- Now, we have a vote chapter. Here we have free 1k gems as vote rewards. To get it, just select 1 team among these 2 teams and click on confirm. There you go, it’s unlocked.
- Now, you can vote for each team every week and every week after voting on different teams, you can choose the final team here and make that team champion.
- After that, this champion’s reward will unlock which gives Mascherano and free 500k coins.
Rewards
- Now, in the rewards chapter, there is very huge use of the Libertadores tokens. With the tokens you got from the vote in the main chapter, you can unlock these rewards. To claim this first coin, you need to collect a total of 100 libertadores tokens, which will be automatically unlocked. You can see here a lot of rewards here.

- Finally, we have a 99 to 101 rating pack and it will unlock once you claim 3k libertadores tokens. You can see how many tokens you have from here. I have 75 tokens only. So, tokens are very important as these rewards are very important and you have to get tokens at any cost otherwise you can’t claim the rewards.
- To get more tokens, you can also go to the store section and exchange tokens with the universal tokens.
- In the store section you can see a similar version of the packs which was before but now, you can see it’s with the libertadores theme and also, it contains libertadores event players. I found a lot of people are getting 102 and 103 rating players so, I would suggest at least give 1 try because some of you can be lucky.
- The last thing that’s remaining to do is, in the football center section you can find another challenge which is related to libertadores. The whole theme is on the libertadores.
- First you have to choose a team and which choosing team to choose. I suggest you pick a team with 4 star plus because it will be easy to win matches for you.
- Now, you can see the trophy looks cool and I am seriously feeling love with this mode.
- To be honest EA did something good in this club challenge mode. Let’s go to the match and you can see here, the way they are showing cutscenes are similar to real libertadores matches. It’s very realistic and cool. Also, you can see the ground is filled with the celebration’s plastics and that looks cool man.
- This is a good change and I think the game is still not boring. I know EA needs to improve some other things in the game but I am feeling more interested in this mode right now. Anyway, overall I will rate today’s update 8 out of 10 and I enjoyed at least they tried to bring good things.
