- Boateng came through the Hertha Berlin academy alongside his half-brother Kevin-Prince Boateng and had spells at Hamburg and Manchester City before becoming a Bayern Munich stalwart. In the latter stages of his career, he played for Lyon, Salernitana, and LASK, leaving LASK in August 2025. 🏆
