PROS
✅ He is one of the fastest fullbacks in the game, with incredible defensive awareness.
✅ Even though he is small and not heavy, he can easily target and chase opponents to intercept at any time.
✅ He is a good fullback for attacking, with 4 skill moves and the avoid weaker foot trait, giving him an advantage over other LBs.
✅ As one of the best free-kick takers of all time, his in-game free-kicks are equally powerful, with powerfully driven free-kick and long shot-taker traits boosting his free-kick accuracy.
✅ He has decent passing and is a very good overlap fullback and defensive LB.
CONS
⛔ Positioning might be a small issue, but with an H/H work rate, you can expect him to track back faster than other fullbacks with an H/M work rate.
OVERALL REVIEW
The Croatian who transferred to Manchester City with the second-highest transfer price in history, played very well as an inverted fullback in the 23/24 season, winning the Premier League and earning a ticket to play for Croatia in the Euro. He is very similar to Ake’s moment card, but he is taller and has a better heading advantage.
