CDM’s are not much of need for high passing but if you need your CDM to pass far matthaus can basically pass like KDB or Beckham
SHOOTING
His shooting stats are very strong, allowing him to contribute goals from midfield. He can score from outside the box and in tight situations.
DEFENDING
Matthaus can defend just like maldini He come up for tight moments such as a counter attack/1v1 moments.
PACE
Matthaus Pace is unreal his stats may see skeptical but in game he has basically the same pace as Mbappe .
DRIBBLING
Normally for CDM you would not really need high dribbling stats but matthaus is something else when it comes to dribbling.

Overall I know that matthaus is top 3 or top 2 CDM’s He is honestly for me the best CDM.   Great pace, Great defending and Physicality.Â
