How to Rank Max with Few URP?
Hello Believers, do you know? You can literally rank up many of your cards with just few URP (Universal Rank Players). You might wonder, how it’s even possible right? No worries, this post is going to give you complete guide of rank up system and make you 0 to Hero in rank up system. So, without any further delay, let’s begin.
Introduction to Rank Up System in FC Mobile

The Rank Up system in FC Mobile allows you to increase the OVR of players. Rank up players affects many things which we will discuss later on.
What happens when you rank up players?
There are 5 levels of rank starting from level 0 level which is also called base rank. Rank up simply increases your player OVR to higher levels. For example: if I rank up 107 rating TOTY Messi then, you can see Each rank up has increased OVR. Level 1 is increasing 1 OVR, level 2 is increasing 2 OVR and so on which you can see in the below image.
Below you can see the list of all rank players in FC Mobile with their levels, commonly used name, and rank up indicator:

Things required to rank up cards:
To rank up a player, you’ll need URP or Universal rank up cards. There are only 2 types of universal rank up cards in FC Mobile which you can find in the below table with their uses.

Quick Warning: We can also rank any players using a duplicate version of the card. For example: If I have a duplicate Messi’s card, I can rank Messi with its same duplicate version.

Rank up Probabilities Guide:
In the below image you can see, my Dimarco card has Purple rank initially, but when I clicked on 1 Mascherano it has just 20% probability to rank up. So, if I click on RANK UP button, there is chances of both failure & success.
Similarly, selecting 5 Mascherano, you can see I can rank this card 100% successfully, so the chances of being failed is 0%. If you don’t want to waste Mascherano then, always rank up your player with 100% probability.
Below you can see the guide on table form. You can see, with how much % probability you can rank players in each rank upgrades.

Note: Total Mascherano/URP to rank player with 100% success is 19 Mascherano/URP.
Steps to rank up Players:
- Click the player you want to rank up.
- Click on rank up option.
- Ensure you have the required Rank Up materials i.e. (Dudek, Mascherano, etc.).
- Use the necessary number of URP to rank your card with 100% accuracy (Check above table for the 100% success rate guide).
- Simply click on rank up and here we go, your player will get ranked successfully!

How to rank up with few URP?
I know many of you were waiting for this moment, i.e. how can we rank players with just few Mascherano or URP? There is 1 good technique which I always follow to rank up players with few URP/Mascherano.
Warning: Make sure this method is very risky and you might lose a lot of Mascherano/URP if you are following this process. However, this method is widely used by many pro players.
So, to rank players with just few Mascherano/URP, I will recommend you guys to completely go with 100% up to Base to Purple rank. It’s because Base to Green and Green to Blue costs only 1x URP and Blue to Purple costs only 2x URP to get success.
So, if you try with 1 URP only when ranking with Blue to Purple, you might waste many URP which might be regret. So, up to purple rank up, go with 100% success. In this table you can see the amount of Mascherano required to upgrade from Purple to Red and Red to Orange. It costs 5 & 10 URP/Mascherano respectively.
So, it’s better try with only 1x Mascherano/URP as when you go with 1x URP, you will get 5 tries when ranking players to red but if you go with 100% success it needs 5x URP. So, going with 1 by 1 gives many tries and mostly it gets success. Also, never go with 2 to 9 URP because, you will get direct failure and that is very dumb way of losing Mascherano most of the times.
Similarly, when you are ranking players from red to orange, it wastes 10x URP if you go with 100% success but if you go 1 by 1 then, you will get 10 tries and in 10 tries, there is higher chances, it might get success very easily.
Note: This method is very risky, especially if you have around 5 to 10 Mascherano/URP and are trying 1 by 1 to red/orange rank. Try this trick if you have more than 15+ Mascherano/URP; there is less chance the trick might flop.
Importance of Rank up Players:
Ranking up a player isn’t just about boosting/increasing card OVR. It has a lot of advantages which makes different possibilities. Let’s go through each and every possibilities 1 by 1.
i. Increases Players & Overall Team OVR: If you rank players in FC Mobile then, it helps to increase or boost the players cards OVR up to +5. You can see example in this image. Not only that, rank up players contributes on increasing total team OVR of your squad as players OVR upgrades and that helps to upgrade your Total Team OVR.
ii. Unlocks Training Levels: Each rank up level unlocks the training level of players. If players is on base rank up then, you can only train your card up to level 5 but if you rank your player to green rank then, you can literally train player up to level 10. In this image you can see, when I tried to rank BARNES card from Base to Green: Training Cap is increased to 10 from 5.

Since, training is important to increase performance of different abilities during gameplay such as shooting, dribbling, passing and so on but the thing is, training is dependent on rank up as without ranking up players, it’s impossible to increase training.
iii. Skill Points: Ranking up players, you can unlock skill points. Regarding skill points, check this post for detailed information.
iv. Market Value: Ranking up players also affects the value of market. Not only that, sometimes, rank up players gives coins profit, after ranking players, the players value are mostly higher than the lower rank and sometime, before ranking players, you should also check whether the player will be easy to sell in future or not as sometimes rank up players are little time consuming to sell. Anyway, in the below image, you can check the coins price difference in different rank up versions.
Common Mistakes to Avoid!
Here are some common mistakes players make when ranking up:
- Ranking up older cards: Once a card has been in the market for too long, its ranked-up versions might not sell well due to oversupply.
- Holding onto ranked-up cards for too long: The market can fluctuate rapidly. It’s often better to sell quickly than to wait for a small potential increase in value.
- Not calculating the tax: Always account for the 10% tax when calculating your profits.
